One of the best beaches
of Cadiz, it is a safe refuge from the Eastern
winds as, due to its semicircular shape
surrounded by cliffs, it is protected from
the strong coastal winds.
La Cala del Aceite stands out because of
its golden sand, crystalline water and the
characteristic red colour of its cliffs.
It is well worth taking a stroll at dusk.
The thousands of orange hues of the horizon
and the red of the beach walls create a
dreamy atmosphere which is hugely romantic.
The access routes are straightforward from
the village of Conil itself, following directions.
It is a cove of barely 300m, with average
occupancy and moderate swell. In the surrounding
areas there are extensive esplanades ideal
for parking.
In the summer a popular beach bar is installed
in the cove where you may eat. Another option
nearby is the port where there is a restaurant/bar
serving local cuisine. It provides basic
services.
